Two crew options available: recreational and competitive (meaning comp crew paddles in more focused regattas)

Winter Connection & Training

#TheRepRoom

To build strength, conditioning, and team cohesion for our inaugural all-women’s competitive crew season, Waves of Fury is training at The Rep Room with coaches Aaron and Pete! Their expertise in dragon boating ensures workouts that are challenging yet accessible for all fitness levels. It’s not just about getting stronger—it’s about building rapport and supporting each other every step of the way!

Winter Connection & Training

Paddler Erg Development

To sharpen our paddling technique and build strength, Waves of Fury trains on paddle ergs during the winter —focusing on stroke technique through every phase with targeted drills and one-on-one coaching. It’s another way we stay connected and support each other while building skills and confidence. A huge thanks to Pendragons for providing access to the paddle ergs!

Outrigger Canoe Sunrise and Sunset Paddle

Outrigger canoe paddling is an optional part of our paddler development—an opportunity to extend time on the water, hone stroke technique, and connect with nature and teammates. We encourage every paddler to experience it at least once during the season to feel how individual power is generated through proper technique. More than just training, it’s about embracing the beauty of sunrise and sunset—a reminder of new beginnings and gratitude for each day on the water.
